Fousia Abdullahi is the producer and host of the Naptime Is Sacred Podcast. Fousia loves podcasting, microblogging about life as a Muslim woman, personal development, and spending time with her family. She was born in Somalia but grew up in Toronto with her six siblings and parents. Shortly after college, she got married and moved to Dallas, where she and her family now call home. Fousia worked as a Virtual Assistant for Muslimmatters.org for five years, where she handled inbox management and worked as a content strategist for guest posts. Also, she worked at ibnabeomar.com as an editorial and social media consultant. In 2014 she started her blog, and then her pride and joy the Naptime Is Sacred podcast was born in 2016. After 12 years of being a stay at home mom, Fousia transitioned to working part-time outside of the home as a Pharmacy Technician. In her spare time, Fousia loves to read suspense and romance novels, shop online, and considers walking around target alone with coffee self-care. You'll usually find Fousia hanging out at home with her husband Omar and their kid's Things 1, 2,3 and 4
